Craigie recovered from the loss of an early goal to run out convincing winners over Ormiston, and return to the top of the first division.
The visitors missed a great chance to go ahead when Scott Mayberry's cross found Brian McEwan in front of goal but he shot over when unmarked but they did score when Craig Fisher's free kick found its way to ex Craigie player Colin Clancy who shot past Craig Weir at the second attempt.
The lead however was shortlived when David Anderson shot past Paul Cadger after an excellent pass from Stuart Martin but Ormiston almost regained the lead when another Mayberry cross was headed past by Stewart Fisher.
Cadger saved from Anderson then Martin as Craigie slowly began to get on top, and they took the lead just before half time when Ryan McKenzie outjumped Cadger to head home a Kyle Hay corner as the keeper complained he had been fouled, and they almost added a third but Stevie Manson shot narrowly past with Anderson just unable to reach his effort.
Ormiston almost equalised early in the second half but Weir produced an excellent low save to keep out Graham Nisbet's low effort, and Craigie took advantage of this escape to double their lead when Michael Olsson's free kick was headed by Martin into the path of Gary Georgeson who shot high past Cadger from the edge of the box.
They clinched victory just after the hour mark when Hay's cross was headed in by Andy Dewar and as they looked like scoring with almost every attack they went nap when sub Lloyd Dignan set up Martin who scored a deserved goal from the edge of the penalty area.
