Despite playing for almost an hour with only 10 men Craigie fought back from two goals down to earn what could be a vital point at the end of season.
They started brightly and Kyle Hay forced a save from home keeper Scott Lumsden but fell behind when Jamie Gibson shot past Craig Weir but Craigie almost equalised immediately with Sean Martin heading narrowly past then Stuart Martin shot past before Gibson almost added his second for Gala but Weir saved his header but they did double their lead when John Waldie headed an Andy Hardie free kick past Weir, and Craigie were dealt a further blow soon after when Kevin Robertson was shown a straight red card for comments to the referee but they managed to keep the deficit to two at the interval.
The 10 men came out fighting after the break, and after a defenders error Sean Martin set up Stevie Manson who kept his cool to beat Lumsden and put his side back in the match.
Gala then changed tactics and played with only one striker which gave Craigie a lot of possession but they couldnt create any clear chances to find an equaliser and they almost lost a third goal which would have sealed their fate but sub Greg Hay somehow hit the post with the entire goal gaping, and he was made to pay in the final minute when Craigie sub Kris O'Neil found Manson and his cross was headed home by Sean Martin who in injury time saw one chance blocked by a defender and then shot past as Craigie looked for victory.
