Craigie crashed tamely out of the South Regional Cup after a poor display against their near rivals.
Peter Newby forced Craig Weir into an early save before Neil Campbell's cross caused a moment of confusion in the home defence but they managed to clear the danger before Newby headed over as Strollers used their greater height and strength to cause the home side problems as they struggled to gain a foothold on the match, and it was late in the first half before Stuart Martin had their first real attempt on goal but shot into the side net.
Strollers took the lead just on half time when Newby's free kick broke to an unmarked John Dunn who shot past Weir but Craigie almost equalised straight away but Alan Dillon pushed Stuart Martin's shot over his crossbar, and James Binnie saw his header cleared off the line early in the second half but they fell further behind when Craig Dickson won the ball in midfield and shot past Weir.
Stevie Manson shot over as Craigie tried to get back into the match before Dillon saved from David Anderson before Manson was crowded out then Binnie forced Dillon into a good reflex save from his header but it was Strollers who came closest to scoring again when Peter Newby's free kick hit the post.
One concern for Craigie would be their failure to raise their game against higher league opposition.
