Despite the incessant rain which fell for the whole match both sides put on an entertaining match.
The young Hibs took an early lead when a corner was only half cleared, and when it was returned Phil Addison's shot was deflected past the Craigie keeper.
They almost went two up but Scott Smith's free kick rebounded from the crossbar before Craigie were awarded a soft looking penalty but Thomas Flynn saved Jordan McKenzie's spot kick.
Hibs again scored early in the second half when Smith's free kick was turned in by Jon Wright but Craigie kept going and were rewarded with a well worked goal with Ross Cameron and Steven Galloway combining well before Kris O'Neil set up a trialist striker who finished well. |
