After a couple of near misses United took the lead midway through the first half when Scott Allan touched a free kick into the path of Jennison Myrie-Williams who gave Justin Cameron no chance, and they added a second shortly after when Shane Campbell was allowed to run across the penalty area before shooting low past Cameron.

Sub keeper Mark Spiden had a number of good saves but was eventually beaten when Martin Boyle won the ball, and ran on to shot low past Spiden.

Sub David Anderson shot into the side netting in a rare Craigie attack but they went further behind when Ross McCord netted a free kick from the edge of the box but Craigie pulled a goal back with a well made goal when Stephen Finlayson's cross was laid by sub Graham Hare into the path of Anderson who shot past Joe McGovern from the edge of the box.

McCord however had the final say when he netted another free kick with virtually the last kick.
