Lloyd Dignan was the goalscoring hero as Craigie made it two wins from two with victory over their local rivals.
Stevie Manson had their first attempt on goal as they started well but Ian Gordon saved easily.
As the visitors came into the match Euan Campbell fired across goal but no team mates were in position to convert.
Ryan McKenzie came close to opening the scoring for Craigie but Gordon saved well then James Binnie shot over as they began to control the first half then McKenzie saw his header cleared off the line into the arms of a grateful Gordon but Dignan eventually broke the deadlock just before the interval with a near post header after good work by Manson.
Leith came more into the match after half time but were unable to penetrate a solid home defence although they did miss a good chance when sub Craig Downie beat the offside trap but was unable to beat home keeper Craig Weir who saved well at full stretch.
Stuart Martin then saw a shot well saved by Gordon as Craigie tried to clinch victory but despite being under late pressure they restricted Leith to long range efforts which never threatened to beat Weir, and Craigie held on for another three points.
