Just when it seemed a combination of good goalkeeping, and missed chances including two penalties would cost them points, two goals in the last ten minutes saw Craigie eventually break down a stubborn home side to maintain their perfect start to the season.
They almost took an early lead but Lloyd Dignan saw his header well saved by Gavin Watson who then denied the same player from a free kick.
Craigie then missed a great chance to take the lead when Watson pulled down Stevie Manson but he made amends by saving Dignan's spot kick.
Ryan McKenzie then came close before Graeme Bernardi got the ball stuck under his feet with the goal gaping.
They continued to dominate after the interval but were still unable to break down the home defence with Dignan again coming close on a number of occasions.
Watson then brought down Bernardi but on this occasion Kyle Hay shot wide from the spot.
The deadlock was eventually broken when Jamie Paterson's free kick was forced home at the back post by McKenzie, and they sealed victory when Hay released Sammy Hassan, and his cross was turned in by an unmarked Stuart Martin.
There was still time for the home side to be reduced to ten men when Michael Clark received a second yellow card. |
